VFW delivers Christmas to veterans

VFW Post 2908 Auxiliary members shopped for items recently for Christmas care packages for all the veterans residing in assisted living or long term care facilities in Stanly County, in addition to shut-in veterans.
The project this year is providing care packages to 36 veterans in Stanly County.
This is the third year in a row that VFW Post 2908 and Auxiliary has provided these care packages. Packages were delivered Dec. 19.
