Sheriff’s Office seizes drugs, cash upon 2 arrests

The Stanly County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at America’s Best Value Inn and Suites, Albemarle, on Thursday.
Horne
David Leon Horne and Tobias Levar Crump were located upon the execution of the search warrant.
Upon a search of their persons, vehicle and hotel room, 73.7 grams of cocaine was located,and $7,851 in cash was seized.
Horne was charged with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver cocaine, trafficking cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Crump
Crump was charged with felony possession of cocaine.
Both have an initial court appearance of Jan. 11, 2021 in District Court in Albemarle.
