This community nonprofit group will meet via Zoom on Feb. 8 at 6:30 p.m. President Frances Whalen has sent a link to all members. Upcoming events will be discussed.
The council’s regular monthly meeting is Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Badin Conference Center. All are welcome and asked to wear masks and observe social distancing.
The Museum Board will keep the museum closed through February due to concerns about the spread of COVID-19.
The library is open three days a week for browsing and checking out books, and it’s free.

A NC Parks program, Performing Live — It’s the Beetles, will be offered Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. at Shelter A. Participants will learn about insects, beetle anatomy and diversity and create a Valentine card. Please register online at email@example.com.
