Historic Museum

The museum will open for visitors again beginning Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Come check out never-before-seen pictures from France of the Narrows Dam construction, or additional information about the people who wandered and gathered along the Yadkin River 10,000 years ago. New items from the Badin schools will also be of interest. Please wear masks.

Badin Churches

Jo Grey

Badin Baptist, on Falls Road, resumes a full schedule of in-person gatherings beginning Sunday with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. Wednesday night Bible study meets at 7 p.m.

Badin UMC is meeting in-person again for Sunday worship at 11 a.m.

Palestine UMC announces in-person Sunday worship services are at 11 a.m. Please arrive early for temperature checks and for seating. The service will also be broadcast to cars in the parking lot on 107.7 FM.

Badin Presbyterian is currently meeting for Sunday worship at 10 a.m.

Stony Hill UMC has begun indoor Sunday worship once again at 10:30 a.m. The service will also be streamed via Facebook, and broadcast to cars in the parking lot.

Town Council

The regular monthly meeting will be March 9 at 7 p.m. at the Badin Conference Center on Falls Road.

Better Badin, Inc.

Badin volunteers hope to meet in person March 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Loafers and Legends on Falls Road. Watch for emailed updates as needed.

Plans are still in place for the semi-annual community yard sale April 10 in the Alcoa parking lot on NC Highway 740 from 7 a.m. to noon. There’s no charge for a 10 x 10 space, but Better Badin welcomes donations to go toward community events.

Badin VFD

Volunteers are needed to meet the demands for EMS and fire rescue personnel in the area. Please inquire at the firehouse, 125 NC Highway 740, in Badin.
