Moves were slated in the near future for two Albemarle businesses and possibly a third.
Honeycutt’s Shoes, which has occupied a space in Quenby Mall ever since its opening, was moving downtown to 142 W. Main St. in a store building formerly occupied by Cato’s.
Harris-Teeter Supermarkets was moving into the space formerly occupied by Belk in Quenby Mall. The supermarket would also utilize the space vacated by Honeycutt’s Shoes. Harris-Teeter had already been an occupant of Quenby since the mall opened.
