The Stanly Arts Guild 2021 Annual Photography Exhibition and Competition will be April 21-May 8 at the Stanly Arts Guild at 330-C N. Second S., Albemarle.

The show opens at noon April 21.

First place prize will be $400, second place $200, third place $100 and honorable mention ribbons will be awarded at the judge’s discretion.

Entry fees are as follows: Stanly Arts Guild members – up to two pieces – $30. Non-members – up to 2 pieces is – $40; $10 each for additional entries – members; $15 each for additional entries – non-members.

Delivery dates are 12-4 p.m. April 16 and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 17. Artists must be 18 or older. Art must not be over five years old and cannot have won awards in a previous Stanly Arts Guild show.

The judge will be David Whitesides of Anson County, known for his photography, portrait and pencil work. He has managed a professional print workshop at South Piedmont Community College for years.
