Two Pfeiffer soccer players receives postseason awards
The Pfeiffer University men’s soccer team had two players earn USA South Postseason awards the league has announced.
Pfeiffer senior Caz Dabrowski (Fuquay-Varina, N.C.) was a USA South East Division First Team selection after notching one goal and providing two assists over the spring 2021 season. Dabrowski scored in Pfeiffer’s 3-2 road win at Greensboro and provided an assists as the Falcons split a pair of matches against Piedmont College.
In total, Dabrowski had 24 shots with eight being on goal.
Sam Stewart earned a spot on the USA South All-Sportsmanship Team. The freshman from Belhaven, N.C. scored a pair of goals on the season, with his first collegiate goal coming at Piedmont on Feb. 21. He would also score on March 24 in a 2-2 draw at Mary Baldwin.
