REGIONAL: Covid shot clinic set for Friday at Wingate University

Community Medical PA and Wingate University have joined forces to host a Covid-19 vaccination clinic Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. at LaVerne Banquet Hall on the Wingate University Campus.
Anyone age 18 and over who hasn’t yet been vaccinated can receive their first dose of the Moderna vaccine, with the second dose scheduled for May 21. To make the shots available, the University is partnering with alumna Brandi Queen, a family nurse practitioner at Community Medical.
Reserve your spot online or call Community Medical at 704-624-3388, option 1 and ask for vaccine-scheduling between 8:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.
LaVerne Banquet Hall is at 204 E. Wilson St., Wingate.
