Scout Troop 202 will have its annual yard sale at Locust Presbyterian Church on Saturday from early morning until noon.

Sarah White writes the Locust News for the SNAP.

Funds raised are used to assist the boys of the Troop in paying for this summer’s trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico and for summer camp at Camp Raven Knob near Elkin. The Troop will also sell Krispy Kreme doughnuts at the yard sale and throughout the community that day.

Troop 202 would like to thank the West Stanly community for their continued support.

Cub Pack 202 meets on Thursdays at 7 p.m. at Locust Presbyterian and welcomes new Scouts from Kindergarten through fifth grade. Troop 202 meets on Tuesday nights at 7 at Frog Pond Performance on Newsome Road and welcomes new Scouts from age 11 through 18. Both units provide many activities and adventures for youth.

Richard Sides is Scoutmaster and Matt Sheffield is the Cubmaster. New members can sign up at the yard sale.
