It is so great to see things opening up more, but let’s continue to be vigilant about keeping ourselves and others safe. Continue to keep practical good health practices in place. Washing hands frequently should be a habit. Use your judgement in large crowds about wearing a mask or not. If you have concerns, avoid large gatherings of people outside your family. We have come a long way. Let’s continue the trend toward normalcy.

Church News

St. Luke will return to indoor Bible study starting Wednesday. The facilitator for June will be Elder Janie Vinson of New Direction Life Ministries. Bible study is each Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Sanctuary Youth Bake Sale will be June 12 from 12-3 p.m. They will be at their usual location at the corner of East Main and Leonard Avenue. They will also sell hot dogs and fish. You may preorder your favorite baked goods by June 10 by calling 203-491-1710. This event will benefit the youth department of Sanctuary Deliverance. The pastor is Bishop Gwen Holland.

Call to Pray will be Thursday at Shiloh Baptist Church at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
