The City of Locust is excited to host the Dixie Youth Baseball AAA and Ozone Division District 1 Tournament June 19-23 at the Locust Athletic Complex.

The West Stanly communities will have two teams representing our area in the AAA (9- to -10-year-old) division and one team in the Ozone (11- to 12-year-old) division.
Support our players and our community by attending games to cheer on West Stanly teams and/or volunteering during the tournament.
Volunteers for concessions, gates, announcer and scorekeeper are needed.
Farmers Market
Locust Farmers Market will be every Thursday through the end of summer. Join us on the corner of Main Street and Vella Drive for locally grown produce and handmade crafts. The market will open at 11 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get fresh produce and crafts from local vendors.
West Stanly Senior Center
There are a wide variety of activities at the WSSC in Locust. There are Health and Wellness classes, craft classes and social and educational activities. Call the center for all the information.
