Resurrection hosts talk show

Dr. Joecilyn Roseboro-Wallace will host the Dr. J. Talk Show 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Resurrection Community Church, 1325 E. Main St., Albemarle.

Tickets, which are $10, can be obtained by calling Gloria Williams at 704-984-2750.

The panel will include Minister Josuana Cutherbertson, Rev. Judy Little, Pastor Lottie Howell,

Apostle Lonnie Hall and Elder Deborah Peoples. Elder Evelyn Scott will appear as comic entertainment and Minister Francine Young will announce.

 

Oak Grove brings singing back

Oak Grove UMC will have its Second Sunday Gospel Singing service at 6 p.m. July 11.

Oak Grove Reunion will provide the music.

A meal will follow.

Grace Baptist Church, 644 Edgemont St., Albemarle, will have vacation Bible school 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 18-22 for ages 3 and older. There is also an adult class.
