HARRISTOWN NEWS: Shiloh hosts homecoming, revival

The pastor, Rev. Parnell Kelly, and members of Shiloh Baptist Church, invites everyone to its homecoming/revival beginning Aug. 15. at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Bishop Tavaris Johnson, of Mt Zion Baptist Church, Badin.

The speaker for Aug. 16-18 will be Pastor Cornelius Atkinson, senior pastor of Wilson Heights First Church of God, Charlotte. Service will begin at 7 each night.

To comply with CDC regulations, social distancing will be practiced, masks and sanitizer will be provided. All are welcome.

Join Spirit and Truth United Church of Worship on its Family and Friends Day Aug. 15 beginning at 10 a.m. at City Lake Park, Albemarle.

There will be free food, games and giveaways.

Join Saint Luke Church each Wednesday at 6 p.m. for Bible study. Each month features a different inspiring and knowledgeable teacher. You can also use 305-848-8888. Press 1, then enter room 333#.

Call to Pray meets every first and third Thursday in the month at Shiloh Baptist Church. The facilitator is Minister Argene Peoples. Session begins at 7 p.m.
