Dylan Morrison, ACE, service manager at City Wide Exterminating in Locust, has been named secretary/treasurer for the North Carolina Pest Management Association (NCPMA) board of directors.
Morrison has previously served as presidential appointee and most recently as an at-large director of NCPMA.
“Serving on the Executive Board for NCPMA is truly an honor,” he said. “I am proud to be a part of an association that works diligently to advance the professionalism of our industry.”
Morrison and fellow incoming board members were sworn in at the 2021 Carolinas/Mid-Atlantic Summer Conference July 29-31. Board members will serve a one-year term completing their service in July 2022.
The 2021 Carolinas/Mid-Atlantic Summer Conference was at the Hilton North Myrtle Beach Resort where pest management professionals from North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia convene for their annual summer gathering. Conference participants attend educational classes, networking events and meetings surrounding industry updates and the latest research in pest management.
“These conferences are a critical way to connect with other like minded leaders,” he said. “Our industry is so unique in the friendships formed, even among competitors.”
The NC Pest Management Association is the trade association representing pest management professionals in North Carolina and promotes the success and education of all pest management businesses in the state. Founded in 1952, it is now comprised of more than 280 member companies, and is the only statewide association dedicated to representing and educating pest management professionals in North Carolina.
“Our association is one of the most active in the nation, and we all have a great focus on serving our membership,” he said. “They say a rising tide lifts all boats, and we firmly believe we all can succeed together.”
