Back the Blue Benefit Ride to be held Saturday

To show support for local law enforcement, firefighters and veterans, a Back the Blue Benefit Ride will be held this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hwy. 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries in Albemarle.

This will be the third such event to support local law enforcement and other personnel.

Riders from Ain’t Rite Riders and Senditmafia Jeep Club will be in attendance. The ride will begin at the restaurant, 750 Leonard Ave., at 1 p.m.

Ride donation fees will be either $10 or $20 with a T-shirt. People can also pay $1 for raffle tickets. Items that will be featured in the raffle include gift certificates, stainless steel tumblers, a Yeti tumbler and a Yeti loadout bucket.

Ten percent of all Hwy 55 proceeds will to local law enforcement departments.
