Communities across the country, including those in North Carolina, are paying a heavy price for our failure to address extreme weather events.

As a member of the Episcopal Church, I know that we must fulfill our moral obligation to leave a habitable world for future generations.

That world can only be achieved with climate justice through ending environmental racism and ecological destruction.

The Build Back Better Act offers an unprecedented opportunity to achieve these and other religions’ goals.

The only way we will slow the effects of climate change is to make it a national mission to cut climate pollution in half by 2030. The climate investments included in the Build Back Better Act put us on a path to achieve that goal.

My faith teaches me to care for all God’s creatures and plants.

Ambitious climate investments will help those most in need and deliver on the promise of a better tomorrow.

Contact your Congress folks and tell them to act.
