New doctor

Dr. Rufus S. Lefler III, a native of Lenoir, had joined Dr. George E. Eddins and Dr. Louis Kandl in the practice of medicine at Albemarle Medical Clinic PA at 214 E. North St.

Lefler was a specialist in internal medicine.

“I am looking forward to meeting the people of Stanly County,” Lefler said, “and getting started professionally here.”
