Stanly County Sheriff’s Office reports the following activity:

Melissa Ann Gardner, 42, was arrested for misdemeanor assault with deadly weapon at Stanly County Courthouse, Albemarle, Oct. 6.

Laura Marie Brown, 35, was arrested for felony trafficking opium or heroin and felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine at River Road Oct. 6.

Peggy Alease Thomas, 21, was arrested for felony sex offender with child on premises at South Third Street, Albemarle, Oct. 6.

Keri Renee Clark, 23, was arrested for misdemeanor assault and battery in Locust Oct. 8.

Spencer Kyle Mason, 32, was arrested for misdemeanor assault on female in Locust Oct. 8.

Cordarius Deshaun Poole, 30, was arrested for misdemeanor assault with deadly weapon at Herman Road, Albemarle, Oct. 8.

Adam Guidan Vernava, 27, was arrested for misdemeanor simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance and misdemeanor carrying concealed weapon at South Third Street, Albemarle, Oct. 9.

Darryl Terrell Anderson, 55, was arrested for felony fugitive from justice at Albemarle Correctional Institute, Albemarle, Oct. 10.

Stephen John Miller, 42, was arrested for felony failure to report new address of sex offender and felony parole violation at Christian Ministry, Albemarle, Oct. 11.

Shakendria Sheokia Wright, 28, was arrested for felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule VI controlled substance, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia at NC Highway 24-27, Oakboro, Oct. 11.
