Individual killed in early morning crash

At approximately 7 a.m. Monday, a two-vehicle crash occurred resulting in one fatality, according to Albemarle Assistant Police Chief Jesse Huneycutt.
The crash happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 52 and West Main Street in Albemarle.
The crash remains under investigation.
