Four radiologists and dozens of hospital teammates joined Stanly Health Foundation staff to make holiday dreams come true by fulfilling the Christmas wish lists of 50 local children and 50 local nursing home residents in need.
This is the 16th year this partnership has made Christmas dreams come true — previously giving away more than 2,000 bikes and helmets to local children in conjunction with “Helping Hands” in Stanly County.
“We are deeply grateful to Drs. Peter Gusmer, Jack Green, Wade Wilkerson and Brad Perry for providing the financial support for this effort each year and our hospital teammates for shopping for their recipients with enthusiasm and care,” said Jane Boone, executive director of Stanly Health Foundation.
