Detectives with Stanly County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Thursday on multiple sex offense with a child charges.

Mark Alan Love, 51, was charged with four counts of first degree statutory sexual offense and four counts of indecent liberties with a minor.

These charges come after an investigation in reference to a sexual assault involving a juvenile reported Nov. 4, 2021.

He is being held in the Ralph Mcswain Detention Center under a $650,000 secured bond and has an initial court appearance of Jan. 18.
