Pedestrian struck by vehicle on N.C. Highway 24-27

A pedestrian was hospitalized after getting struck by a vehicle on N.C. Highway 24-27 Bypass between Henson Street and Leonard Avenue, according to a press release from the Albemarle Police Department.
Police responded to the incident around 6:08 p.m. Wednesday. The individual, who was not identified, was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.
No charges at this time have been filed.
