The Pfeiffer duo of Taylan Rowe and Jerome Savoy each scored 22 points in Pfeiffer’s 109-69 setback at Division I Longwood University on Wednesday afternoon at Willett Hall in Farmville, Va.

Rowe, from Oakboro, N.C., matched his career-best of 22 points by hitting six three pointers.  Rowe tied his best of 22 points, previously set on Feb. 1, 2020 against USA South foe N.C. Wesleyan.  His six three-pointers made is also his career high.

Savoy, from Waldorf, Md., went 8-of-18 from the floor, tying his career mark for field goals in a game.  Savoy also dropped three from long range and had five rebounds.

Longwood had a huge first half, bolting to a 63-39 halftime advantage to improve to 8-5 overall while the Falcons dropped to 4-4.

The Lancers had four players score in double-figures, led by Isaiah Wikins’ 21 points.

Pfeiffer is scheduled to return to action on Jan. 12 with a USA South road game at William Peace University.  Tipoff from Raleigh, N.C. is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
