Portion of U.S. Highway 52 closed due to multi-car collision

U.S. Highway 52 is currently closed between Old Charlotte Road and West Main Street due to a multi-vehicle accident this morning, according to the City of Albemarle’s Facebook page.
People are encouraged to avoid the area.
