A member of the Norwood Town Council has resigned.

According to Town Administrator Scott Howard, this week Betty Harrison emailed her resignation from the council.

In an interview Friday, Harrison did not state publicly the reasons she is leaving the board. She said she planned to attend the regular February meeting of the Town Council and would let both the board and the community know her reasons for resigning.

She was elected to the town council in 2018 after previously serving on the town’s zoning board.
