HARRISTOWN NEWS: St. Luke plans for guest speakers

Hope everyone has been enjoying the winter weather safely. It’s the time of year to make sure you have made preparations in case of icy conditions and power outages. Remember safety is of the utmost importance.
Also, let’s continue to be vigilant about staying safe through the Covid pandemic. Please, wear a mask when around people outside your household. If you have symptoms, please avoid contact with others. Remember, we are all in this together.
St. Luke Church would like you to join them each Wednesday for Bible study at 7p.m. The conference number is 704-471-3131. That is all you need to dial.
St. Luke will have two guest speakers coming up. Apostle Debroah Robinson, of Troy, and Elder Mary Kendall, of Charlotte. Keep watching for more information concerning these events.
St. Luke continues to have service inside the sanctuary each Sunday at 11. You may also join in to the service via Facebook Live.
Call to Pray meets the first and third Thursday of each month at Shiloh Baptist Church at 7 p.m. The facilitator is Minister Argene Peoples.
The community extends heartfelt condolences to the Butler family for the loss of their loved one.
We were saddened to learn of the passing of Devin Davis, of this community. We extend our utmost condolences to the Davis family.
The community extends sincere sympathy to the family of Willie “Rabbit” Moore. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Heartfelt condolences go out to the Gramling/Watkins family during their time of bereavement. May God grant peace and comfort following the passing of Delois Watkins.
