West Stanly Rotary members are partnering with Carter’s Place and Locust Presbyterian Church to host a Bowls of Love soup fundraiser 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Feb. 5.

All profits will go toward the work of West Stanly Christian Ministries and Locust Presbyterian Church.

You will get a great soup lunch with dessert provided by Locust Presbyterian Church and then your pick of a hand-crafted ceramic bowl to take home.

The ceramic bowls have been decorated by groups such as Cub Scout Pack 202, Girl Scout Troop 1061, American

Heritage Girls Troop NC0148 and the fifth grade at Locust Elementary School with the assistance of Donna Carter and her staff at Carter’s Place in Locust.

To enable social distancing at this event, tickets will be sold for specific times.

Times are 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 1-2:30 p.m. at Locust Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.

Proceeds will be divided evenly between West Stanly Christian Ministries and Locust Presbyterian Church.

Tickets are $20 each and sold in advance of the event. Make checks or payments payable to West Stanly Rotary Club.
