Stanly County residents who made the Wingate University fall 2021 president’s list were:

Riley Barbee, Alexis Faulkner and Samantha Hogan, all of Albemarle; Courtney Smith of New London; Shaelyn Lisenby of Norwood; Regan Frick and Kinsey Lowder, both of Oakboro; Shannon Cline and Daniel Williams, both of Stanfield.

The president’s list includes undergraduate students who have earned a term GPA of 3.80 or higher on at least 12 quality-point academic hours and have no grade below a “C-”.
