Bethany Fire Department will have its barbecued pork or chicken fundraiser beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday and running until sold out.

Proceeds from the event will help to fund necessary equipment upgrades for the department including turnout gear and medical supplies.

Plates will be $9 each.

Pork will also be available by the pound, chicken by the halves and slaw by the pint or gallon.

There will be drive-thru service at the fire station or delivery available.
