Norwood Police Department is looking for a suspect wanted for assault with a deadly weapon and inflicting serious injury.

Police Chief James Wilson said the suspect, Joe Frank Carpenter, is accused of assaulting an individual by cutting down their back with a knife or box cutter.

Wilson said the public should use caution if confronted by him. He has also made threats toward law enforcement upon a previous release from jail, Wilson said.
