Sheriff’s Office arrests woman for second degree murder, death by distribution

Investigators with the Stanly County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and Narcotics Unit responded in reference to an overdose death Thursday.
Subsequent to an investigation, detectives charged Noelle Jacquez Meaders for second degree murder and death by distribution.
Meaders is being held in the Ralph McSwain Detention Center and has an initial court appearance of Monday.
Meaders received a $300,000 secured bond.
