The Bike 2 DC Ride to Honor will pass through Albemarle around 1 p.m. Monday.

The public is invited to line the streets of West Main in downtown and East Main through Five Points as the cyclists travel through Albemarle.

The cyclists are riding to Washington, D.C. in honor of fallen officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.

In addition to members of the public, local law enforcement and emergency first responders will be invited to line the streets to show support for the cyclists as well.
