“Receiving this honor is truly satisfying,” said Vang. “I enjoy knowing that we’re making the best product possible to serve the people of our community.”

The Certified Operator of the Year Award recognizes water treatment professionals who achieve excellence at their level of certification (A Surface, B Surface, C Surface, A-Well, B-Well, C-Well, D-Well).

In order to obtain these awards, the candidates must also be a member in good standing of the NCWOA and engaged in water treatment at least part-time or on a regular basis.

The North Carolina Waterworks Operators Association (NCWOA) is the premier trainer of water operator professionals for the state since 1939.
