NAACP reveals plans for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Prayer Breakfast

The Stanly County Chapter of the NAACP will honor the legacy at the 20th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Prayer Breakfast at 9 a.m. Jan. 14 at the E.E. Waddell Community Center.

The keynote speaker will be Rev. Charles Barrino, pastor of Saints Delight Church in Albemarle.

Barrino is married to Tina C. Barrino, who is also a minister. They reside in Pageland, South Carolina and have six children. He was installed as pastor of Saints Delight Church in August.

The theme for this year’s breakfast is “The Time is Now.”

Tickets and/or table reservations are available by contacting any member of the local NAACP or can be purchased at the EEWC Main Office during regular business hours Monday through Fridays.
