The Pfeiffer University women’s swimming team swept a pair of dual meets on Saturday afternoon, downing Salem College 94-24 and taking down Guilford 94-86.

Pfeiffer claimed eight event wins on the afternoon, winning the 200-yard medley relay (Nyah Hines, Allison Trull, Kara Robertson, Madison Lynthacum), the 100-yard backstroke (Hines), 100-yard freestyle (Trull), 200-yard breaststroke (Trull), 500-yard freestyle (Hines), 100-yard butterfly (Robertson), the 200-yard individual medley (Lynthacum) and the 200-yard freestyle relay (Lynthacum, Trull, Robertson, Hines).

The Falcons will turn their focus on participating in the Independent South Championships on Feb. 16-18 in Cary.
