Stanly County Senior Services will offer A Matter of Balance, a series of classes designed to help people concerned about falls.

Conducted at the E.E. Waddell Center, 621 Wall St., Albemarle, the  workshop will be 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and Fridays March 21 to April 18. There will be no class April 7.

Attendees will learn how to view falls as controllable, set goals for increasing activity, makes changes to reduce fall risk at home and exercise to increase strength and balance.

This free eight-week session class will be taught by Pamela Sullivan and Alexa Sells.
