The Central North Carolina Council will have an oyster roast fundraiser April 27 at Atrium Health Ballpark, 1 Cannon Baller Way, Kannapolis.

RSVP by March 31 to attend.

The event is to recognize those in Scouting and to raise awareness for the Friends of Scouting campaign.

The Central North Carolina Council has served Stanly County since 1940 with the Scouting program. The organization’s office is based in Albemarle and it serves more than 4,000 youth in a seven-county area.
