The Stanly Community College Art Show recently displayed originaly work from students, family and staff.

Artwork ranged from traditional to digital mediums, photography and more.

SCC hosted an opening reception where the following winners were announced: First Place: “The Sea Garden” by Tracy Adams; Second Place: “Remains of the Day” by John Lanier; Third Place: “The Caves of Valyria” by Jordan Holt.

President’s Choice awards were given to Casey Stirewalt’s “Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker” and Tracy Adams’ “The Heart of Juneau.”

Honorable Mention awards were given to Casey Stirewalt’s “Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker,” Michaela Palmer’s “Blooming” and Lexi Watts’ “Clown Baby.”
