The Stanly County Senior Center will host Shred-A-Thon 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 18.

The community is invited to shred old papers, folders, paper clips, staples, binder clips and hanging file folders.

This is a drive-thru service and goody bags will be available with tips and information to protect from identity theft and fraud.

Organizers will remove the shredding materials from your vehicle and dump into the shredding truck.
