In celebration of National Hospital Week and Nurses Appreciation Week, the Stanly County Arts Council recently delivered some sweet treats to health care workers on the campus of Atrium Health Stanly.

In addition to cookies, each teammate received a thank you note with artwork created by Kindergarten students from Aquadale Elementary School.

“Atrium Health Stanly supports our mission to encourage and promote broad-based cultural and educational activities in the arts throughout Stanly County,” said Renee VanHorn, executive director of the Stanly County Arts Council. “In addition to the generosity shown to the Arts Council by teammates during their annual giving campaign, the hospital partners with us to provide arts materials and volunteer assistance for Creation Station at Celebration of the ARTS plus they provide scholarship funds to ensure any child can attend our annual Summer Arts Camp. The cookies and thank you notes are the least we can do to say thank you for the outstanding care they provide to our community day in and day out.”
