At 2:34 p.m. Wednesday, Albemarle Police, Albemarle Fire and Stanly County EMS responded to the intersection of N.C. Highway 24-27 and Leonard Avenue for a motor vehicle collision involving a 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle and a 2006 GMC truck.

The collision resulted in Brian Charles Webb, operator of the motorcycle, being ejected. Webb was transported to the hospital and his condition is unknown.

The crash is under investigation.
