A person died after a two-vehicle collision Friday night.

N.C. Highway Patrol Trooper Smith said a driver was turning left from N.C. Highway 24-27 onto Liberty Hill Church Road when struck by another vehicle.

Highway Patrol, which received the call about the accident at 7:20 p.m., is continuing its investigation and in the process of notifying family members of the victim.
