Mary Kate Lilly is a recipient of the Memorial Baptist Church Scholarship which is awarded each year.

Lilly graduated from South Strand Academy. She also attended Stanly Community College and was a member of the honor society (president’s list).

She plans to attend UNC Greensboro and major in psychology. Some of her extra interests include book club, mobile meals and drama club.

She is the daughter of Bill and Lynn Lilly of Norwood.

Luke Franklin Webb is also a recipient of the Memorial Baptist Church Scholarship which is awarded each year.

He graduated from South Stanly High School and plans to attend Pheiffer University.

He was in the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society.

His golf team at SSHS were state champions this year.

He is the son of Frank and Karen Webb of Norwood.
