North Stanly Youth Athletics is asking for donations and sponsors to support the North Stanly youth girls softball team as it goes for the state championship.

The state finals are July 7-12 in Southport.

The team, with a record of 8-2, wants to raise $12,000 to offset travel expenses.

Donations can be made by mailing checks to PO Box 176, Richfield, NC 28137, sending funds by Venmo to @justinculp5 or by emailing allisonwensil@gmail.com to arrange for someone to pick it up.
