Ninety degree temperatures, humidity and thunderstorms are indications that summer is definitely in full swing. Pay close to weather alerts on TV, radio or phone. Get out early and enjoy yourself with many of the activities offered in the county. The library, Parks & Rec, outdoor concerts and other activities are offered free of charge. Stay cool and stay safe.

Brothers 4 Life will host the 2nd Annual Back To School Giveaway at 11 a.m. July 22 in Mt. Zion parking lot. School supplies will be given to children for the upcoming school year. Please note, child must be present to receive items. Refreshments will be available.

Church News
Parker’s Grove Baptist Church will celebrate the 17th Pastoral Anniversary of Pastor Althea Harris on at 11 a.m. July 16. Guest speaker will be Apostle Janice Wilson of Kingdom Builders, Charlotte.
St. Luke will take part in the Sanctuary Deliverance Holy Convocation in Greensboro July 26-29.
Convocation will be at Sanctuary Deliverance Church, home of Total Restoration Center, 3631 Summit Ave.
