Wingate University has released the names of students who achieved president’s and dean’s list honors for the spring 2023 semester.

President’s List

The president’s list includes undergraduate students who have earned a term GPA of 3.80 or higher on at least 12 quality-point academic hours and have no grade below a “C-”.

Students from Stanly County include:

Aniston Hann and Brady Pugh of Albemarle; Mia Barbee of Locust; Reagan Speight of New London; Mabe Campbell, Justin Gaddy, Shaelyn Lisenby and Dylan Little of Norwood; Rachel Thornburg of Oakboro; and Mary Ellis and Daniel Williams of Stanfield.

Dean’s List

The dean’s list includes undergraduate students who have earned a term GPA of at least a 3.30 but no more than a 3.799 on at least 12 quality-point academic hours and have no grade below a C-.

Students from Stanly County include:

Riley Barbee, Tammy Branch, Alexis Garcia, Wendy Starnes and William Scott Williams of Albemarle; Makayla Caserma, Guilherme Silva, Brooklyn Simpson and Kwanza Williams of Locust; Emma Campbell and Chelsey Williams of Norwood; Monserrat Santos of Oakboro; and Ashlyn Hughes, Whitley Page, Olivia Payne, Eli Ward and Elisa Whitley of Stanfield.
