The Stanly County Chamber of Commerce will host several events in the coming month.

Gus Vanegas will be the guest speaker at Leads At Lunch, a program hosted by the Stanly Community College Small Business Center on the second Tuesday of each month.

At noon Aug. 8, Vanegas, career center leader for NCWorks, will discuss free services available for employers, such as recruitment and training tips.

Armadillo Axe Throwing, 124 W. Main St., Albemarle, will host Business After Hours 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 17. There will food, networking and door prizes. RSVP at anissa@stanlychamber.org.
