Parkers Grove Baptist Church, New London, invites all to their church revival.

The revival will be at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 27. The guest speaker will be Bishop Tavaris Johnson, of Mt. Zion, Badin. The host pastor is Rev. Althea Harris.

Events of interest

Tell a friend to bring a friend is the mantra for Shoptalk, held at Michella’s Salon, on Aug. 14 at 6 p.m. The guest host will be Evangelist Vanessa Chambers. All are welcome to attend.

Mark your calendars for Sept. 2 at 4 p.m. Be in attendance for the first live recording of Mitchell Johnson & Rehoboth.
Johnson is formerly of the community. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at www.rehobothmusic.com. The recording will take place at Wayfield Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, 400 West Sugar Creek Road, Charlotte. Doors open at 4 p.m.
