The annual Stanly YMCA Kids Triathlon will be 2-4 p.m. Sept. 16 at the YMCA building and park.

The triathlon is where kids start with a swim in the YMCA pool, bike around downtown and then complete a run on First Street.

The event is for children ages 3 to 14.

All funds raised will benefit the Open Doors Scholarship Program for summer camp at the YMCA.

Ages 3-5 will start at 2 p.m., ages 6-10 at 2:45 p.m. and ages 11-14 at 2:45 p.m.
