The Stanly County Chamber of Commerce will host several events in the coming month.

Lori Thayer, CEO of Hospice of Stanly County, will be the guest speaker at Leads At Lunch at noon, Sept. 12, in the Hospice of Stanly Conference Room, 960 N. First St., Albemarle.

Thayer will discuss the importance of living your mission, employee engagement and creating a positive culture.

A ribbon cutting for Blended Cafe and Deeter Real Estate’s Locust office will happen at 11 a.m. Sept. 14 at 411 W. Main St., Locust.

Business After Hours will begin at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 21 at Spring Arbor, 315 Park Ridge Road, Albemarle. RSVP to anissa@stanlychamber.org by Sept. 18.

A ribbon cutting is also planned for Sweet Repeats Consignment, 211 N. First St., Albemarle, will happen at 11 a.m. Sept. 27.
